“We enjoyed looking at the online exhibition on the recommendation of our friend who is a member. We have several pieces of her artwork and we love it, brings us so much pleasure.”
“Congratulations to all concerned.”
“We enjoyed looking at this, especially as our niece has 2 paintings in the exhibition
and we are very proud of her talent.”
“A great way to exhibit, in view of the circumstances, and I can keep looking back until I choose a favourite!”
“Lots of talent on display, and a very impressive website – well done to all concerned. It is lovely to have art to see, even though we are all so restricted at this present time. It certainly lifts the spirits and enables art to be available and accessible to so many more people.”
“I loved the inclusion of poetry and being able to hear it read by the poet. Although I have chosen my No.1 piece of visual art work, my overall favourite work is by Tony Roberts – his incredibly moving poem, “Nunc Dimittis”. Thank you.”
“What a lovely collection of work – and what a smoothly working website! Having the exhibition on-line makes it possible to really look at each piece without distractions (and in comfort), and to keep going back to look again and again. Whatever happens next year, please also have it on-line!”
“What a splendid and easy to navigate website. I enjoyed both the pictures and the poetry.”
“Very nice works in the exhibition, and I love looking online. I will return and look again.”
“I have known about this splendid website for a long time – but never before spent so much time exploring it. There is so much to find. The details about your Featured Artists, plus their pieces, is very good to spend time with. Also the Featured Poets, their backgrounds and their work. I will take much time, in the future, to make sure that I discover all that the site offers – and to keep up-to-date!”
“Extraordinary work. Thank you.”
“I am hugely impressed with the diversity of artwork in the exhibition. It is easily accessed and clearly displayed. So much so that choosing a favourite is a nightmare, they are ALL so good. Well done to all involved, an excellent exhibition.”
“A lovely collection. I loved the landscapes and the dog pictures. Bertie has such wonderful warm eyes. This is a great way to see the exhibition, thank you!”
“What a treat. This brings a smile to my face, midst the darkness of the present pandemic restrictions. It is wonderful to see the artwork and to read – and listen to – the poetry in such a well-displayed way. Thank you.”
“I’m not very good on my computer but this was very easy to navigate. I loved the art especially the landscapes.“
“Personally, I prefer to see the paintings on the website, rather than crowded together with other paintings nearby, and sometimes with others milling around. I shall spend an enjoyable time examining them whilst sitting in my chair with a cup of tea!”
“I am astounded by the way you have displayed this exhibition. Well done! It is a pity that you couldn’t display at the museum this year – but, in some ways, this is even better.”
